Originating from years of hands-on building experience and industry insight, the system was developed through the Lifting Point Group to address key challenges in regional and remote housing, such as transportability, affordability, material access, regional trade limitations, and ease of construction.
The early stages of the BuiltQuik system’s research and development were heavily influenced by key development partners, supporting stakeholder consultation with various types of community and housing organisations around Australia, industry suppliers, academic research partners, and government departments. BuiltQuik has grown from these grassroots foundations, to now having the BuiltQuik technology proven and tested in the market.
We have simplified building code and engineering requirements, and standardised new componentry to seamlessly work in with the traditional onsite trades, increasing their output of custom and affordable buildings.
The BuiltQuik Engineering solution versatility provides a highly scalable, community-focused solution, delivering smart, sustainable housing and community infrastructure, with local engagement, scale and affordability, where it’s needed.

Ryan Mullaney
Co-Founder and Director
Lifting Point Construction Technologies & BuiltQuik
Ryan Mullaney has a background in supply chain management, intellectual property development and commercialisation, and entrepreneurship. Ryan is the co-founder of LPCT & BuiltQuik, a co-inventor of the BuiltQuik construction system, and was an adviser to Lifting Point Pre-Form when it founded its bridge subsidiary InQuik, including supporting product development for commercialisation. In developing the BuiltQuik construction methodology for remote building projects, Ryan also identified the social and logistics need for a more efficient regional supply chain approach with which BuiltQuik is now being commercialised. Ryan leads BuiltQuik as the Managing Director, supporting its market entry into both emerging markets domestically and abroad, and the residential development sector in Australia.
Ryan’s favourite thing about the industry is building visions for future generations, contributing to the built environment, and working with regional communities and people. He loves BuiltQuik because it allows him to build homes with regional communities while feeling like he is part of driving change bigger than himself. Ryan’s vision is to build thousands of homes nationally and in climate-impacted regions around the world, supporting regional industry development and sustainable housing for generations to come.
Bruce Mullaney
Founder and Chairperson
Lifting Point Group and Director of BuiltQuik
Bruce Mullaney worked for 30 years as a residential and commercial builder through Sydney and the southern highlands of NSW, before establishing Lifting Point to commercialise his inventions in the construction industry. Bruce has continuous experience in running and partnering with a wide range of construction businesses locally and internationally, in rural and urban environments. Using his vast experience in practical design, Bruce developed a number of innovative construction technologies including the InQuik pre-formed concrete construction system, the Conquik DIY concrete slab kit, and the BuiltQuik building method. With the help of his sons, these inventions have all been successfully commercialised within Australia, with the InQuik concreting system already in America, Europe, and Asia.
